For Britain’s sports players its been a year of ‘nearly’ and ‘not quite’ and overall a case of must try harder. I suppose us Brits are used to not getting there and not winning, but even we could have been impressed with one man, a man who came from nowhere to practically dominate his sport in his first year, but still just miss out at the last hurdle, that man is of course, Lewis Hamilton.
How would a British golfing club - the last standing of Britishness and the stiff upper lip - react to a series of absolute bizarre letters from a nutcase retired Colonel and his wife? Well, todays Product of the Day finds out!
The product of the day for today is the brilliant and witty QI annual by Stephen Fry and other comedians such as Jo Brand, Jeremy Clarkson, Julian Clary, Bill Bailey, Jimmy Carr, Rowan Atkinson and of course, Alan Davies.
Back on BBC2 every Monday is Dragons Den. One of the best programmes on TV these days. If you haven’t seen it then where have you been? The programme involves entrepreneurs presenting their ideas to a team of self made millionaires to gain money to improve and create their businesses.
